Overview

FLUTICASONE; SALMETEROL (floo TIK a sone; sal ME te role) inhalation is help decrease inflammation and help to open up the airways of your lungs. This medicine is also used to treat asthma and COPD. Do NOT use for an acute asthma attack or COPD attack.
This medication may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide. Ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

How the Medication Works?

Follow all directions and be sure to read your prescription label information carefully.
This medicine is inhaled through the mouth. Rinse your mouth with water after use and do not swallow the water. Do not use a spacer device with this inhaler. Do not stop taking except on your doctor’s advice. Make sure that you are using your inhaler correctly. Do not take more often than directed. Do not give this medicine to a child without medical advice. Special care may be needed.

Overdosage:
Get emergency medical attention if you think you have taken too much of this medicine. This medicine is only for you. Do not share with others.

Dosage

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take double or extra doses.

If you take your medicine once a day and miss a dose, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If you take your medicine twice a day and miss a dose, take the missed dose immediately. In this instance, 2 tablets may be taken at the same time. The next day you should take 1 tablet twice a day as directed.

Common Side Effects

Get emergency medical help as soon as possible if you have signs of an allergic reaction:
– allergic reactions like skin rash or hives
– swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
– chest pain -dizziness or lightheaded
– fever or chills
– irregular heartbeat
– vision problems

Call your doctor or health care professional if you have the follow side effect:
– coughing, hoarseness, throat irritation
– headache
– nervousness
– stomach problems
– stuffy nose
– tremor

Storage

Keep out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Do not leave your medicine in the heat or sun. Throw away 1 month after you open the package or whenever the dose indicator reads 0, whichever comes first. Throw away unopened packages after the expiration date. Airduo Respiclick: Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Avoid exposure to extreme heat, cold, or humidity. Throw away 1 month after you open the package or whenever the dose indicator reads 0, whichever comes first.
